Layering for Optimal Protection
One of the key advantages of the Flame Resistant UltraSoft 3-In 1 Parka High-Vis – Style USO513 is its layering capability. Layering is a proven strategy for maintaining comfort and safety in challenging work environments. By wearing multiple layers, workers can adjust their clothing to regulate body temperature and protect against various hazards.
The shell of the USO513 is made from a high-quality blend of 88% cotton and 12% high-tenacity nylon from Westex®, ensuring excellent flame resistance. The 2″ trim featuring 3M™ Scotchlite™ Reflective Material enhances visibility in low-light conditions, promoting worker safety. The lowered X striping on the back of the shell allows ample space for company logos or hooded undergarments, adding a personalized touch to the workwear.
Adaptability for Any Climate
Whether you’re working in extreme cold or scorching heat, the Flame Resistant UltraSoft 3 In 1 Parka High-Vis – Style USO513 has you covered. The fleece component of the jacket is made from a blend of 55% modacrylic and 45% cotton, providing exceptional warmth and comfort. The full zip design and slash pockets offer convenience and easy access to essential items.
In addition to its insulating properties, the fleece is also flame-resistant, ensuring protection against potential workplace hazards. When worn together with the shell, the fleece creates a formidable barrier against electric arc and molten ferrous metal, making it suitable for a wide range of industrial applications.

How to Take Measurements for a Perfect Fit
For most of these measurements, you will require someone to help measure and read the measurements.
Remember to ask someone you are comfortable with and to respect everyone’s comfort levels. It is beneficial to discuss the measurement process briefly beforehand to ensure everyone is comfortable and you can get an accurate measurement.
Chest:
- Stand in a straight, natural position
- Lift your arms, parallel to the ground
- Using a tape measure, wrap the tape around the fullest part of the chest
- Then, drop your arm down naturally to your waist and measure the side
Sleeves:
- Hold arms parallel to the floor
- Bend your arm slightly into the chest, towards the collarbone, to test the range of motion
- Start the tape measure at the base of the neck, then measure across to the shoulder
- Continue the tape measure down to the elbow, then down to the wrist bone
- Measurement should end where you want the garment to sit at the cuffs, ensure your arms will be fully covered and protected while ending before extra fabric becomes a nuisance or hazard
